We've found the Green Dinosaur (Idiospermum australiense). To have found this species is truly amazing. This is one of the world's rarest plants and its importance to conservation and to science cannot be overstated. Recorded in 88 million year old fossils, it has a lineage stretching back to the time when flowering plants first appeared over 120 million years ago.

The rainforest at Lot 1, Cape Tribulation Road is a living museum. When our botanist surveyed the property he recorded an amazing 258 native plant species. This includes five plants listed as Threatened species.
Not just an extraordinary botanical treasure. The land is strategically located and provides a wildlife corridor connecting upland rainforest to the west with coastal rainforest and mangroves to the east. This at-risk property also provides essential habitat for the Endangered Southern Cassowary.

Any damage or fragmentation of the rainforest at Lot 1 Cape Tribulation Road would be disastrous. I can't let that happen.
